Spirit Message of the Day – Time For Keen Observation

THE WATCHERS
“When this card appears, it indicates the awakening of a new personal vision and an understanding of your place in the cosmos. you are not alone in this and guidance is available; however, direction is subtle and requires deep attention to the inner voice. The card can also indicate that something is about to be revealed, or that others are already aware without your knowledge. It is time for observation, witness, and reveal.”

TEACHING
“A race of beings exist who were once physical beings. These ancient beings have evolved into aWatchers by Mickie Mueller spiritual race that watches over the gateways that connect all realms. In ancient times they were associated with specific stars, and the stars themselves were thought to be the eyes of the watchers in the night sky. In many traditions the Watchers are associated with the four compass directions of the north, east, south, and west. They are all associated with the four elements of earth, air, fire, and water. A common practice is to evoke or summon the Watchers to guard the ritual circle. Here they are called to each quarter, and different traditions use various names and methods to call the Watchers.”

“The card depicts the starry heavens with four distinct nebula clouds. Each cloud has a bright star glowign within it. A closer examination reveals four beings taking form within the nebula, the combined formation suggestive of a robed figure. Each of the four stars represent the ancient star associated with a specific Watcher. The Star Aldebaran, when it marked the vernal equinox, held the position of the Watcher of the East. Regulus, marking the summer solstice, was Watcher of the South. Antares, marking the autumn equinox, was Watcher of the West. Fomalhaut, marking the winter solstice, was Watcher of the North.”

THE SHADOW’S EDGE
“The Watchers card presents the concept of divine memory. The theme of this card centers on the divine consciousness and its awareness of humankind, as well as its interaction in the life patterns of the souls as it travels through many lifetimes. The message of this card is that all things are remembered, and nothing is ever lost. The material and spiritual life should be lived with this in mind.”

  1. Under “Winter Solstice”, you’ve got information all screwed up. You’re mixing up Yule (shortest ‘day’ of the year – late December) with Imbolc (midwinter – early February).
